About Mindful Voice Users
Podcasts and Training for the Church
and those who use
their voices in it.
Mindful Voice Users was founded by South African voice teacher and vocal coach,
Bianca-Maree Sampson Moeketsi, who works with professional and aspiring singers and speakers within the Christian Church as well as in [so-called] “secular” environments. Bianca-Maree provides workshops, warm-up material, digital resources, technical training and motivational encouragement for vocalists and speakers in various churches in South Africa.
Bianca-Maree coaches vocalists and speakers with what she believes is a slightly different approach to the voice as whole.
“I believe that every voice is unique, in a unique body, driven by a unique mind but this belief goes further in that I think we need to use individualist approaches to maintaining a healthy voice but with a universal understanding that each voice has a purpose. We have an explicit responsibility to care for it as best we can in order to fulfil that purpose with excellence.”
MVU informs every voice user who will listen about the power of the voice, the responsibility we have towards our voices and the One who gifted us with them.
You’ll notice that almost everything we taught at MVU links in one way or another to the theme of vulnerability, tension and being intentionally mindful about this power of the voice and the One who gifted it.
If you’d like to book Bianca-Maree to work with you, your speakers or vocalists, you can send an email to ask@mindfulvoiceusers.com.
